Discus and support Wifi options not available under network and internet setting tabs on taskbar. in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Only airplane mode and cellular options available under network and internet settings tab on taskbar.     Wifi options not available under network and internet setting tabs on taskbar.


    Only airplane mode and cellular options available under network and internet settings tab on taskbar. Cannot seem to get any available wifi network options. How do i get my laptop to connect to a wifi adapter again?

    No "wifi" tab on network and internet settings Windows 10

    Hi all, I'm having a problem and hoping you can help me out.

    So I'm running a Dell laptop with Windows 10 installed (it's been installed for months) and today I lost the ability to detect any sort of wifi connections or obviously connect to any. It just shows a red "x" over the Ethernet symbol down on the taskbar,
    and where it usually shows all of my available wifi connections, now it is completely blank and I know there are many connections available.

    Further, under network and Internet settings, there is literally no "wifi" tab at all where there should be. all of my switches are turned on as far as I know, and I've done things with device manager that didn't work to the best of my knowledge.

    I really appreciate any help, as I really need to connect to the Internet.

    List availible wifi networks with powershell

    I always use elevated cmd and I tested it again it is the same on other computer.
    Point is if you are not connected to wifi you get all listed if you are connected to one wifi you get only tht one.
    But you must not click icon on taskbar for wifis for a minute. All networks are availible all the time
    Also I have no restrictions.

    C:\>netsh wlan show filters

    Allow list on the system (group policy)
    ---------------------------------------
    <None>

    Allow list on the system (user)
    -------------------------------
    <None>

    Block list on the system (group policy)
    ---------------------------------------
    <None>

    Block list on the system (user)
    -------------------------------
    <None>

    when I use this line tha yes I get all wifis

    Wifi options not available under network and internet setting tabs on taskbar.

    Under Windows 10 Settings > Network & Internet there is no wifi option

    Some time ago under Windows 10 Settings > Network & Internet no wifi option was available on my desktop. It's not been a problem since I am hard wired to my network. Now I want to evaluate Verizon's 54G network but without a wifi connection I can't do that. All of my wifi networks currently work on all my other devices (3 smart phones, two fire tablets, a fire TV adapter, two laptops, smart TV etc). I've been through all the troubleshooting steps that come up. Any ideas?
