  1. Wifi PC not showing up in explorer network tab

Hello. I've been struggling with getting our 2 PCs to show up in the explorer under network tab. I've enabled all the correct services and checked the firewall. Finally both of our PCs we're visible on both of our PCs. However, when I disconnected the ethernet cable on the other PC which we're intending to use its wifi antenna, the wifi PC cant see itself in the network tab. My PC can see both of them and the wifi PC can see my PC. Any idea what's going on?

    :)

  3. Windows 11 doesnt have security tab to show wifi network password characters

Per instructions i go to network and sharing and click on my wifi network. it reveals all the information and allows me to "copy" SSID information to clipboard. But there is no security tab to click and "show" the password.

This doesn't exist, there is no security tab, thus no show characters box.

    1. In Wireless Network Properties, select the Security tab, then select the Show characters check box.
Your Wi-Fi network password is displayed in the Network security key box.

Wifi PC not showing up in explorer network tab

    Wifi Networks not showing

On my Laptop if I wanted to change the wifi connection I would always see a list of the available networks when I selected the Wifi icon on the task bar.
Since the last major update to Windows 10 I find that when I select the wifi icon I only see the current connection

To see other networks within range I have to open the 'Network settings' and choose 'Show available networks' - then they show up.

Does anyone have any explanation for this - or possibly a 'fix' to show them all from the taskbar again.
