Windows 10: WiFi quick conn, calendar and notifications in taskbar not opening after latest win 10 update

As indicated in this screenshot, the three arrows point to the apps that will not open. Update was September 10, 2024—KB5043064

Windows 11 - Taskbar notifications/Calendar not opening

Hello,

I'm not sure if it was a recent update or there is something corrupt with my system somewhere, but randomly one day last week the bottom right section of my task bar where you can access your system notifications as well as the small calendar suddenly stopped working. Other items on the taskbar such as background apps, Wifi/sound, all open up except the notifications and calendar. I've tried reinstalling Windows 11, making changes to the registry as previous forums instructed, I've done scans through the command prompt and reinstalling certain things through powershell as also mentioned in previous forums. I feel like I've exhausted most troubleshooting and still have no found a fix.

Any suggestions are welcomed

 

Calendar app not showing notifications

Hey guys, I have birthdays set up in my contacts and they show up in calendar and other events as well but I never receive a notification in the taskbar, I reset the app and also in system, notifications and actions calendar is not in the list but Is.

Marked as solved, I added a test in my calendar and it just started working. If anything I’ll report back or open another thread, thank you !

 

Win + P, Notifications, Systray Calendar Not Openg

i just did a restart and tried win + p to bring up the monitor controls and they won't launch. i then noticed that the systray calendar and systray notifications won't open either. the only thing i have done since hooking up the secondary monitor is to install the latest ccleaner, so i have no idea what happened. now earlier this morning i opened notification 2 or 3 times without issue, this was well after i installed the latest ccleaner. i found the following thread but it was no help. any suggestions? thanks
