Windows 10: wifi setting missing form my laptop

Discus and support wifi setting missing form my laptop in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Doing school work today and my computer won't connect to the internet.     wifi setting missing form my laptop


    Doing school work today and my computer won't connect to the internet. Checked wifi settings and they appear to be missing. Spent about 2 hours researching and troubleshooting to find out that my computer is missing the wifi setting completely. I'm able to access the internet via Ethernet cable but still no wifi. Checked updates, all good, ran through Microsoft and followed their troubleshooting steps and it led me to contact tech support but they keep transferring me back to the same website for troubleshooting. Tried contacting Microsoft again and I get a message saying I'm not the owner and
