Windows 10: WiFi settings are missing from the computer

Dear Microsoft team,I am Ritesh Wankhade and I am a PhD student.I am not able to see the WiFi settins on my computer since few days.I tried using all the possible ways to solve this issues using the solutions available online and I am still having the problem.Please let me know what I can do to resolve my issue?I am using Dell Inspiron 5559 laptop with Windows 10 OS in it.Looking forward to your reply.Thank you.

Computer Sleep Option Missing in Settings

The Settings Power and Sleep menu in Settings should list Screen and Sleep, where Sleep is used to tell when the PC goes to sleep. Sleep is missing, so my computer never sleeps. Fast startup and Hibernate are not enabled.

I used Tutorial Add or Remove Sleep in Power menu in Windows 10 to change the registry while in administrative mode, but sleep still is not seen.


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FlyoutMenuSettings now lists :1: It was 0 before the change.






I cannot get a large image, so will type
Default REG_SZ (value not set)
ShowHibernate REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (0)
ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1)
ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1)

I used Option 3 to add sleep using the Group Policy Editor. The steps seemed to work fine, but sleep is still missing.

I’m using a “new” refurbished Dell T3500 workstation with mbr running the current version of win10. I have a number of these computers, and the other all have the normal sleep mode .

Any suggestions? Jim

 

Wifi settings are missing

Hello,

My Wifi settings are missing. I tried the steps as given in: Wi-Fi settings are missing in Surfacebut
that didn't solve the issue.

Here some details:

• Windows 10 home / 1709 / 16299.125
• I installed all Windows udpates.
• In device manager I don't see under networkadapter the Marvell Avastar.
• The troubleshooter didn't solve the problem.
• Problem started a week ago, reason is unknown.
• I don't know which surface I have, or what surface even is.

Hopefully someone can help me to get the wifi settings back, need internet wireless.

Do not worry, it can be fixed.

Restart Surface and check.

It could be due to incorrect settings or missing updates or damaged drivers.
