Windows 10: Wifi speed Slows Down whenever connected to my device

I am having an issue regarding wifi-connection. i have a wifi router assume it to have a name 'WifiX'. Whenever i connect WifiX to any of the device it works perfectly fine and provides a speed of 90 - 120 Mbps on every device. But when i connect it to my laptop the wifi speed never exceeds 600-700 Kbps at any cost. I have tried updating the wifi adapter driver to the latest compatible version for my PC. I have also tried disabling the firewall but the situation remains the same. The device info is: -> Operating system: Windows 11 22H2 64-bit -> Device : HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gamin

WiFi Speed

Something is wrong with my WiFi on this computer. I am connected but the WiFi speed to this computer is slow. All other devices are running fine. The wifi speed to this on computer is very slow it is at 72mbps and it should be at 300mbps.

Wifi Speed and Metered Connections

I've been experiencing slow wifi speeds for the past couple of months. I recently switched my wifi connection to metered and my speed increased substantially. I am not understanding how a metered connection would increase my wifi speed versus non-metered.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
