  1. WIFI won't connect, the router is active, I can access with phone, but not laptop

I turned my laptop on this morning and tried connecting to my wifi, I enter the password correctly double checking its right. It comes up with the message "checking network requirements" after a minute it then says " can't connect to this network" I have restarted my computer switch wifi connection on and off, tried connecting to wifi via QR code and nothing works. I've tried setting my wifi systems back to factory defaults and nothing will work.

    :)

  2. Phone won't connect if I change wifi password

Still haven't solved this issue which cropped all out of a sudden.

    My ISP router is a
    Technicolor TG589vn v3

It's precisely the same brand and model of the router we have at work and which works fine.

One fine day my phone was OK with both (identical routers). Then another fine day the phone decided to ignore my router. Or the router decided to ignore my phone. And it's remained that way since the 8th Feb when I started this thread.

I've been using this phone for over a year with no connectivity problems. Then as from the 8th Feb, it or my modem refuse to communicate. My modem still connects without any problems with my pc, daughter's laptop, my laptop, another pc, two other phones and a tablet (I even had them connected all at the same time to test).

And the phone still connects to any wifi available, just not our home wifi. Whenever I try the home wifi I get the message ''The Wifi network didn't respond, try again later''.
Then as soon as I park the car outside work the phone starts beeping like mad with all the notifications :/

  3. I cant access to my wifi router

    Wifi router

    Hello marcosamerio..
If you are unable to connect access your wifi router then there must be some problem with connection. I think the following step scan help you to connect it properly to wireless router.

Connect your computer to the wireless router. Although you can access the router wirelessly, it is better to use an Ethernet cable to directly connect to your router so that you can securely adjust router settings. Plug the Ethernet cable into the appropriate Ethernet jack on your computer. Plug the other end of the cable into any one of the open Ethernet ports on the back of your wireless router.

    2. Open a Web browser. In the URL address field, enter the IP address for your wireless router. This information should be contained in your router’s manual. If you cannot find it, enter “198.168.1.1” as the address. This is usually the default IP address for most routers.

    3. Enter the username and password for your router. This should also be supplied in the router’s manual. If you don’t have this information, go to the RouterPasswords website and find the brand and model of your router. This site lists the default login information for most wireless routers.

    4. You should now be able to see your wireless router settings. You can configure your network ports, as well as SSID (wireless network name) and passwords.

  4. WIFI won't connect, the router is active, I can access with phone, but not laptop

Phone won't connect if I change wifi password

The new password is definitely allowed and saved - all my other devices connect with no problem every time I change wifi passwords (There are 2 desktops, 1 laptop and 2 other phones using my wifi). It's just this Lumia 520 which doesn't connect.
    Or am I missing something?
