Windows 10: Will a 'factory reset' uninstall my secondary hard drive?

I am having some issues with my PC about once a day I get a 'blue screen of death' saying ucmucsi failure. I have tried fixing this issue for quite a while with help from the nice people of this forum but the problem remains.
I assume resetting to factory defaults will fix the problem and I am therefore contemplating this as a final resort.

I have a question though:

A few years ago I had someone else install a secondary hard drive on my pc. Will this be affected by the reset? Meaning: will I have to re-install the drive after the reset?

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

I really don't mind any files on the secondary drive being deleted - I have everything backed up

My question is really: does the reset affect the installation of the drive itself - Do I have to do anything to tell windows how to read my secondary drive if I reset or is that information stored somewhere 'safe' from the reset?
