Windows 10: Will a USB Audio interface plugged into a USB c port interfere with my wifi signal?

I plugged my new volt 4 usb c audio interface into the usb c port. It worked fine. Now I'm dealing with wifi connectivity being available for seconds at a time before network service becomes unavailable seconds later. Did I do something to mess up my wifi by plugging interface into usb c? Or is it possible the wifi settings need adjusted to be able to gain a signal from my wifi router?

USB-C to Display Port not working?

I have an X1 Yoga with Windows 10, attempting to connect to an external HP monitor using one of the two USB-C Thunderbolt ports. I bought a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter from Lenovo, connecting the adapter to the DisplayPort cable that came with the monitor.
No signal on monitor. It's a brand new monitor and it works fine using HDMI, but due to availability of ports I want to use the USB-C connection.

When I plug in the USB-C to DisplayPort adapter I get a message "PC isn't charging". The power cord is plugged into the other USB-C port and otherwise works fine. I have tried switching around the USB-C to DisplayPort adapter to the other port but still
no signal to the monitor.

Please help.

 

which is better for a wifi adapter, usb 2.0 or usb 3.0?  

The fastest USB WiFi adapter in the article that was less than $30 was the Archer T4U. You can buy one for about $17.
The Archer T4U requires a USB 3.0 port. You will probably reduce its speed if plug it in a USB 2.0 port.
You can try the pass-through port but you should compare it to a direct connection to make sure it does not slow you down.

There are a several caveats here:

• The article's author did static tests. He made no attempt to show which WiFi adapter gave the best Wi-Fi coverage.
• Interference, signal blockage, and increased distance from router will reduce Wi-Fi speeds.
• Using any of these WiFi adapters in an older computer may show lower speeds that in the article
