    Will a Win 11 in place install fix corrupted sys docs folder?


    The system documents folder ended it below onedrive after onedrive was uninstalled. Now I have a non system documents that correctly has all word/excel folders below but even though I set word to save to the correct documents it wants to open to the wrong docs. And in the process I managed to corrupt the system documents folder. To what extent do you think a reinstall could straighten this mess out?Mark

    Misplaced My Docs folder of pictures.


    Upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 yesterday [free update]. Checked my Docs containing my phot folders. Last one being Plant Pathology. Folder is missing. It's taken me months building this folder.
    In the Start area, I recognized one of the missing pics, displayed as a tile. Did something that removed the tile and listed, 'photos' in the margin. Clicking on this, the screen opens up showing my lost pictures but in reverse order. Also a vast number of other pictures that are saved in My Docs, but individual folders.

    HELP PLEASE. Can I take whatever steps to restore my folders to My Doc's and at the same time prevent windows from ever again making collections.

    Retrieving a WP doc in WIN 10

    Using WIN 10 & WordPerfect 12, we created a 3-page doc in WP12 and saved it. Now it is only listed in the WIN file folder , as a WP doc, and will not open from there. Need it today and printed. Can anyone help?

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
