Windows 10: Will Clarity/Sharpness adjustments be returned to Microsoft Photos?

Hi,I returned from a hiatus in photo editing to find that Microsoft Photos has removed the Clarity/Sharpness adjustment slider that I used all the time! I've logged feedback via the feedback hub but just wondered if anyone knew for sure if it was coming back?My pictures really don't look the same without it :In the meantime, can anyone recommend some good, free photo editing software with the clarity/sharpness adjustments please!Helen

Windows 10 Photos: Red Eye, Clarity, and Aspect Ratio Changes

Thank you. I appreciate your attempt to help me with this. I have downloaded the legacy version and it looks and behaves exactly the same as the newer version.

• There is no adjustment for clarity.
  
• Cropping defaults to "free" as opposed to original aspect ratio.
  
• There is no red eye fix.
  

I am open to other suggestions.

Font Clarity is Poor

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are experiencing poor font clarity on your Dell XPS8960 running Windows 10 Pro with an RTX3070Ti graphics card driving a Dell U2713H 27" Ultrasharp monitor.



Firstly, I would suggest checking if your system's advanced settings, to do this:

1. Press Windows+i to open settings and go to the system tab
   
2. Scroll down to the About and click on the option of Advanced system settings
   
3. Go to the performance tab and select settings, go to visual Effects to adjust for best appearance.
