Windows 10: Will everything will be the same If I go back to version 1909 from version 2004 in windows 10 ?

I was using windows 10 version 1909 and my system image got damaged. Now I want to go back to version 1909, so if I go back will everything will be the same like will my system image still be damaged or It will be a clean, new installation ?

Microsoft Windows 10 Version 1909

I have upgraded my windows to version to 1909 which was optional. Recently, I have seen that minimum processor requirements to run a windows 10 version 1909 is 10th gen intel processor but I do have an 8th gen processor. I have seen little degradation
in performance. Is it good to continue with the 1909 version or should I go back to the previous version of windows which is supported by microsoft?

 

How to get the Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004

My spouse has a Dell Inspiron 3875, which has not been offered update Version 2004 yet. In checking Dell site, it says - "If your computer model is not listed, Dell is not testing the device, and drivers have not been updated for that model". Model 3875 is not listed. Does this mean I should just stay with Version 1909 indefinitely? I have already tried to update to Version 2004, using Windows Update Assistant, and due to problems, had to roll it back to Version 1909, where it work fine. Seems like a no solution situation?
