Windows 10: Will hard resetting my laptop reinstall missing drivers or adapters?

will hard resetting my laptop reinstall missing drivers and adapters? My laptops wifi adapter randomly deleted itself and after spending hours trying to fix it and a soft reset to try and keep my files, I’m wondering if a hard reset and loss of my files will result in my wifi returning. I have an ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506II

Incorrect display adapter driver for my Asus K42JK laptop

I suggest you to Uninstall and reinstall the Display driver and check if it works for you.
Refer to the steps below:

Follow the steps to uninstall the Display driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
• Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Now download the drivers the manufacturer website and install it.

no wifi driver in Network Adapter

Acer Laptop Wireless network adapter missing

Hello all,

Laptop: Acer aspire V15 nitro black edition using windows 10

Issue: my atheros qualcomm wireless network adapter is not visible under network adapters, therefore unable to connect to any wifi.

I have tried

• Performing network reset from Network & internet status menu. This has actually resolved the problem before but now it longer works having performed system restore.

• System restore made problem worse, have tried reversing restore.
• Tried changing WWAN autoconfig service to automatic
• performed reset via command prompt
• when adapter was visible i tried reinstalling driver and changing power settings.

Problem seems to be on startup, it persists if resolved. Could driver be corrupt? How would i install new driver if i cannot connect to the internet?

considered getting a usb wireless adapter, although not a resolution, would it give me wifi for now?
