    Will I be able to get Win11 in the future with my processor? Details below


    I meet every single requirement for Windows 11, except for the Processor. My current processor is an AMD A9-9425 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G according to PC Health Check and since I'm currently not eligible to get Win11, I'm wondering if I will be in the future with my processor.Anyone mind helping me out?

    Windows 10 Pro 21H1

    I ran the MS Win11 hardware suitability tool. And my trusty, 3 year old Lenovo P50 failed--reason: processor.

    The machine's processor is: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz

    Just curious... is it reasonable that a newer processor might be plug compatible with the motherboard and with Win11?

    processor isnt currently supported

    processor on approved list but pc health says processor not supported for win11

    Windows 11 Processor

    1. We don't work for MS. We're normal users like you.
    2. We don't have access to your devices, accounts, and other such info.
    3. You didn't mention your processor.
    4. MS has stopped testing processors, and a few 7th gen processors were added to the compatible list. So if your processor isn't listed as compatible, you won't be able to upgrade directly. You can, however, upgrade by clean-installing Win11, or by using the official registry workaround posted at Microsoft's support site.
