Windows 10: will I lose my license for win 10 if I reset it to factory settings. My windows license is...

My wifi adaptor is getting disabled every time I am restarting, putting my system to sleep or shutting it down. So I want to reset my laptop to the factory setting to see if the issue is rectified. But I am afraid that I might lose my windows licence as it is a digital 1 not the 25 digits key.

Windows 10 upgrade license

The interesting question is that: the upgrade takes place before 29 of July. If I upgrade the PC (change the MB), and I transfer the Win 8.1 license to this new PC (cause 8.1 is retail FPP), will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free? Or a upgrade license must be bought?

Hello guys,

I have 1 license of WIndows 8.1 FPP/retail license. I want to upgrade to WIndows 10, but I one thing is unclear to me.
If I upgrade, will WIndows 10 license be retail or it will "turn" into some sort of OEM license?

I ask this because I upgrade my PC, you know, more memory, replace HDD, and I intend to upgrade the MB and CPU to Kaby Lake platform sometime in the future, (and of course sell the replaced hardware)
This thing is not clearly mentioned anywhere.

Will setting back to factory settings wipe out the digital license?

Hello Microsoft Community,

I am concerned about my digital license Product Key because I plan to reset my computer to its factory settings then reinstall all of my software.

Will setting back to factory settings wipe out the digital license? If not, will the digital license allow me to reinstall Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Upgrade a second time or is the digital license a once-only-download license?

I have the Product key for Windows 10 Home and will be installing it before installing the Pro upgrade.
