Windows 10: Will I lose my Windows 10 OS if I select the "Remove Everything" option when resetting my PC.

I want to reset my laptop since I will be selling it. I want to get rid of all files including my Microsoft and Windows account details.However, I am not sure whether it will erase the Windows 10 OS as well.Need help please.

If you are having that message while trying to reset your computer, We suggest you to create an installation media for Windows 10 using Media
Creation Tool and perform a Reset.

Once the installation media is created, follow the steps below:

• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer.
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. From there, you can use Safe Mode. Select
  Advanced Options >Reset This PC>Remove everything.
• After the reset is complete, check for status.

Windows failed to reset and it removed windows drive

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to Reset the computer using Windows 10 ISO and check if it helps.

• Go to the Microsoft software download website and create Windows 10
  installation media.
• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Troubleshoot.
• In the troubleshoot screen, click on Reset this PC.
• Select the desired option and follow the steps to Reset the PC and check for status.
