Windows 10: Will I lose my Windows Activation if I wipe my PC

After troubleshooting and resetting my pc for many hours now, and coming up empty, I have resorted to booting a fresh Windows 10 from a USB. What I'm wondering is if I will lose my activation key or whatnot from doing that. My current version of windows is up to date but corrupted somewhere that I need a clean install.I've been watching many videos and have been looking around a bit, but from my search on this topic while working out some other things I found nothing so help would be appreciated

To assist you better, we would like to confirm if Windows 10 is activated before you wiped your computer.

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the Activation troubleshooter. To do this, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings.
  
• Select Update & security.
  
• On the left pane, choose Activation.
  
• Click Troubleshoot.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
