Will installing Windows via ISO file completely delete my previous system?

Right now I have an unofficial, terribly shaky Windows with many wrongs. It was installed on my PC in the service centreas it happens in my country. I need to delete this garbage from my PC and install an official one. Why via ISO file and not USB? I cannot install Windows via USB because I can't choose the boot menu using the Enter key. BIOS instructions say: to choose menu press Enter, I press it and my desktop opens instead. Every time. It doesn't make sense. So!Will installing via ISO file delete my previous system without any loose endsno remaining data, drivers, bits, anything?

    :)

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink Will installing Windows via ISO file completely delete my previous system? ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

Finding .IMG or .ISO file in Windows 8.1 Pro download

    Hey guys,

In preparation for my new PC I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Dreamspark, and I wanted to burn it to a DVD, so I can install it on the new PC.
However, in the downloaded files I can't find a .IMG or .ISO file anywhere. I understood that the .IMG file is the one you need to burn to the DVD?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

Will installing Windows via ISO file completely delete my previous system?

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

No its built into Windows, just open disk cleanup and select 'Clean up system Files' button on the bottom left- now you'll see previous installs of Windows listed under list of cleanable items. My old install is a whopping 25GB of my 256GB SSD.
