Will Microsoft ever be sued for destroying our PCs with faulty updates?

Just needs leaving town for Christmas vaca, I allowed the windows 10 update to run. It did the "please do not shut of your pc" update countdown. Everything went ok as it was already in shut down mode. Once it shut down, I turned of the power strip and went or of state for a week to family for Christmas. When I got back, my Acer told me it had no bootable drive. The arm crashed on the disk. All my data was lost and now I am unable to get my PC up and running again. This is Microsoft's fault because they give us no control over if or when we want system updates. We are forced to trust them and this happens!

    :)

    Cumulative Update KB4338819 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.165 - July 10

This update totally destroyed me, which was not totally unexpected.

I have noticed that update issues are fairly common occurrences.

Microsoft must have a site that lists step by step actions that they want you to take when Windows 10 Updates and trashes a system?

Does such a site exist? Where do I go to get help?

Recovering Windows 10 After an Update

    Step 1:
    sfc /scannow

    Step 2:
    Dism

    Step 3:
etc.. Uninstall Video Drivers and reinstall

Microsoft sued over faulty XBox 360s

It had to happen, considering the hype around the XBox 360. Imagine buying one for over $1000 on Ebay, and it crashing on you every few hours. Microsoft is being sued by a Chicago man, who's brand spanking new XBox 360 overheats and freezes all the time.
All I can say about this, is that the PAL XBox 360s, which I sold here in Austria, seem to work fine...
