core i3 7100u is in supported processor list but not able to upgrade

    Good Day Sohin.,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you.

The minimum requirements for Windows 11 is at least 8th Gen processors. The processor you are using which is Intel core i3 7100u is a 7th Gen processor it is not included in the list of supported processors.

The one you posted is the supported processor for Windows 10 not for Windows 11

Here's the list of intel supported processor for Windows 11.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

You can stay in Windows 10 it is still supported until year 2025, by that time you will have a new computer already.

However if you want to update your device to Windows 11, you can reach out to your computer manufacturer and have them check what is the compatible processor for processesor replacement to update to Windows 11.

This is a community forum, I don't work for Microsoft , I am a community member like you.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
