Windows 10: Will my D:\ drive be resetted if I reinstall windows via cloud ?

So, I want to reinstall windows 11 but I don't know if my secondary drive and my appdata will be reset with it too.

Based on the details you have provided us, it appears that there might be some corrupted contents on the said partition. We can also consider that this is caused by a virus.

For us to check if a certain virus is hiding your files, kindly follow the steps below:

• Type Command prompt in the search bar.
• Type-in the following command:
  
  attrib -h -r -s /s /d D:\*.*
• Press Enter to execute the command.

If you think that there is nothing important stored in it, then we suggest that you reformat your D drive so that you can use the free space for important files.

You can follow the steps below to start with the process:

• Click on the File Explorer.
• Select This PC.
• Right-click on your D drive, then click on Format.
• Follow the on-screen process to finish formatting the partition.

Reseting my win 11 without losing apps on D:

It appears to be the video driver. Did you update it as I suggested?

Resetting Windows will only affect the drive where Windows is installed (C. The (D drive will not be affected, but some programs installed on this drive may need to be reinstalled to work correctly.

Of course, it's still a good idea to have your files backed up on an external drive or in the cloud, even with Windows running normally.

• What is the make and model number of your PC?
  
• What happens when you select cloud download option for reset?
  
• Do you get any error while trying to reset PC using cloud?
  
• Do you use Wi-Fi or wired connection for internet?
  
• Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to perform a clean installation of Windows on PC, you can refer the section Clean install of Windows 10 using installation media from the article Reinstall Windows 10

Note: Performing a clean installation will remove all the applications/programs. Hence before doing that, please backup your important data at least on an external hard disk
