Will my friend Be notified in any way if I download a game on their laptop?

Hello, I have this genuine question. A friend gave me their old laptop to use and I’m still logged onto their Microsoft account. If I log off and log onto mine will they be notified? Or if I try to download a game will they also be notified? If anyone knows please let me know.* Moved from Community Center

  2. Gaming Laptop for Friend

I got my friend into PC gaming now. He was a huge console gamer, but now that people at the MAc store screwed him over he wants a gaming laptop now for when he goes off to college. He wants to play BF3 maxed out, a 17 inch monitor, for under $1600. Throw me some suggestions and ill forward them to him.

    --Thanks guys

I found a pretty sick Asus ROG laptop with a 17 inch screen and a GTX460m GPU and a Core i7 for 1,300

    Looking for Laptop for Friend

My friend wants a good laptop for just basic things like music and internet and a little gaming.

I'm looking on Newegg and have found a few that seem pretty good. Anyone have any suggestions? Preferably below $600.

    Where are my downloaded Games?

    Hi Brandon,

Games downloaded from the Microsoft Store website or through the Windows Store app are added in the Xbox app's Game list. To access this, kindly perform the following steps:

    • Select the Start button, then select Xbox.
    • Sign in using the Microsoft account you've used to download the game.
    • Select My games. Games you have on that device will appear there.

If you can't see the game, it may be because the game was not automatically added on your Game list. To add it, proceed with the steps below:

    • Select the Start button, then select Xbox.
    • Sign in using the Microsoft account you've used to download the game.
    • Select My games.
    • Select Add a game from your PC.
    • You'll see a scrollable list of all Win32 games and programs that have
      Start
menu shortcuts. From the list, find Solitaire HD and add it to your
My games menu so you can quickly browse for and launch the game.
    • Once you've selected your choices, select Add selected games at the bottom of the pop-up window.

Don't forget to notify us with the results. We'd be glad to further assist you.
