  2. Laptop running Windows 10 keeps freezing

    Hi,

Since you already tried several troubleshooting steps, such us running a hardware diagnostic test on all hardware components, checked the system files, updated all drivers, and as well the BIOS, then this is perhaps an issue with the laptop itself. Now,
to isolate what is causing performance issues on your laptop, we suggest that you perform a factory reset, then check if it's the same. To perform the suggest step, please refer to this article:

    Recovery options in Windows 10.

If the issue persists after performing the suggested step, contact the laptop manufacturer to have it replaced.

    Let us know the outcome.

    Performance drop in windows update.

    Hi,

This erratic behavior of Windows 10 may have risen from the recent update itself. During updates,
issues may arise from software changes, outdated drivers, conflicting
    programs,
and sometimes update components that was not successfully completed.

You may run the Windows Update troubleshooter. By doing this we will be able to determine if the root cause of the issue and thereby fix it.

    Kindly follow the steps below:

    Note:
If you select Save, you need to go to the folder where
the troubleshooter is downloaded to. After the download is complete, double-click the latest
    wu.diagcabfile to run the troubleshooter.

    • Select Next
and follow the steps in the wizard to find and fix problems with Windows
      Update.

    If you will be facing
any issue while troubleshooting, please provide the outcome, so that we can resume working on your concern.

Will my laptop be able to run Windows 10 without performance drops?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
