Hi, My laptop has a built-in OEM Windows 10 home edition product key. And I heard that the free upgrade to Windows 11 might only be until Oct of 2022. I don't want to upgrade my windows from 10 to 11 right away as I heard there are lots of bugs in Windows 11 now. Instead I want to wait for another year and then install Windows 11. So let's say the free upgrade period for windows 11 is over and then I tried to install windows 11 home edition. Now, will my Windows 10 home edition OEM product key work for the windows 11 home edition if I install Windows 11 after the free upgrade period is over?R

Windows 7 OEM key works for Retail Edition?

Might work. Discs are generic, key says what windows it unlocks. OEM/ retail might be slightly different though. I guess you're gonna let us know, eh?

Dude, go to Newegg right now and read the questions and answers tab on Windows 10 OEM. The OEM copies that are listed there DO in fact, come on an optical disc. The flash drive ONLY comes on Retail copies.
