Windows 10: Will paint tool SAI work on windows 11?

I'm awaiting a new laptop that comes with windows 11 already on it, will SAI work on it? Or is incompatible? I can't find a clear answer anywhere.

Ugee M708 tablet no longer working with Paint Tool Sai

I've recently realised that my Ugee M708 tablet doesn't work anymore with Paint Tool Sai despite it working well before.

I've just now reinstalled the latest drivers (latest on ugee website was a few weeks ago) but paint tool sai still won't work. If I have paint tool sai focused, the pen will not longer move the mouse.

It was working fine yesterday and I never did anything to it in terms of it's drivers. The time I noticed it wasn't working was shortly after restarting my computer to finalise the installation of my audio drivers that were out of date.

Other programs like photoshop and medibang paint pro still work fine.

Paint tool sai is ran as administrator (it seems it won't run without doing that anyway) and so is my tablet configuration program.

We understand the concern as you are unable to use Microsoft Paint on your PC. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?

In this scenario, we would suggest you to check if you are able to launch Microsoft Paint from System32 folder.

1. Press Windows + E key to open
   File/Windows Explorer
   
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32
   
3. Double click on mspaint.exe
   
4. If you are able to launch then Pin to Taskbar and
   create a shortcut.

If the issue persists then try these steps.



Step 1: Run DISM & SFC scan

We would also suggest you to run the DISM & SFC Scan tool to check if you are able to launch MS Paint, refer this article:
System File Checker.



Step 2: Reinstall Microsoft Paint app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & features from left pane.
   
3. Click on Optional features and select
   Microsoft Paint from the list.
   
4. Click on Uninstall. Close
   Settings and restart the PC.
   
5. Now perform step 1 and 2.
   
6. Click on Optional features and click
   Add a feature.
   
7. Check the box beside Microsoft Paint and click on
   Install.

Art Softwares? tried downloading Paint Tool Sai and GIMP, but they aren't compatible with Windows 10.

Are you able to download Paint Tool Sai and GIMP application?

I suggest you to kindly go in Windows store and download the application that you would like to use for painting or art in Windows 10. By downloading any paint application from Windows store, you will be able to know whether the
issue is related to downloading or just with the Paint Tool Sai and GIMP applications. If the issue is only related to these two applications then I suggest you to contact the developer of the applications.
