Windows 10: Will PNY products from Orange Hardware work seamlessly with Microsoft software?

Hi everyone,I recently purchased some PNY hardware from this site: https://www.orangehardwares.com/collections/pny-technology, and I was wondering if these products are fully compatible with Microsoft software and systems like Windows 10/11, Office, etc.. I'm particularly using them for productivity tasks and light media editing.Has anyone here used PNY components with Microsoft environments? Any tips or compatibility concerns I should know about?Thanks in advance!

PNY USB Drive won't mount ANY other brand will

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



I understand that the PNY USB drive is not getting detected when plugged in to the computer, we will look into this for you. However, in order to get to the root cause of the issue, please reply with the following details:

• What happens when you plug in the PNY USB to the computer?
  
• Do you receive any error code/message?
  
• Do you see any yellow yield in any USB driver in Device Manager?
  

I suggest you to check Event viewer for any error message, so that we can get to the root cause of the issue. Please follow the steps mentioned below to check Event Viewer:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   System.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now look for the Error message for USB from the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.

Error code 10 PNY USB 64GB

As the subject describes, my PNY USB 64GB is not working. At the Dev Manager I see the message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful.

I've tried all the listed things such as changes within the registry and updates etc, but nothing seems to work. If I try to update it, I either get the message listed above or that the drivers are up to date, however, when I use the troubleshooter for Hardware
and Devices it says that the USB device has a driver problem, but when I click to fix it, it doesn't.

Finally, it has also been suggested everywhere that one could change the letter and/or make changes at the Disk Management section, however, the USB doesn't show up in this section, only at the Dev Manager with a !

I'm wondering if anyone knows a solution besides the ones that have been listed so far.
