    Hi,

    I have a Z220 CMT with a GT 440 and a 400w psu.

    I was wondering if I could upgrade it to an AMD Radeon R7 250x .

    I have the required amount of wattage and the correct slot. (PCIe x16 Gen3)

    Does the PSU have the corrrect cables for the GPU or does the GPU even need any cables?

    I hope someone can answer this.

    Win 10 anniversary update compatibility issues HP Elite 8200 CMT/Radion 5450 graphics

    I use an HP Elite 8200 CMT, which has AMD 5450 Radeon Graphics to support dual monitors, and it worked fine until the anniversary update. Since then, several compatibility issues have surfaced, and my tech support says it all points to the graphics card.

    I ordered a newer graphics card (Radeon R7 250 DirectX 12), but this one requires a 400W power supply, and this mini tower only has 320W on board, plus it appears this is a custom PSU, not a regular ATX, so I seem to be unable to upgrade the power supply.

    I have looked into ATI Radeon 6570 cards, which can still be found, but ATI does not certify them for Win 10 either.

    I am wondering if anyone has a practical suggestion, short of buying a new computer, or going back to Win7???

    Yeah LP stands for Low Profile. Where did I say it doesn't?
    Also, I'd like to point out that I said "This R7 250 LP" as in this card we are talking about (Club3D R7 250 LP) in this TPU news article. I did not say the actual GPU is called R7 250 LP. Since it really is called R7 250 512SP Edition which is Cape Verde Pro or in other words the HD 7750 rebranded.

    You could have just went to TechPowerUp (like you were blaming TPU to go and look at their own site, why don't you do your research?) and just scroll a little bit down to see the R7 250 512SP Edition listed there, click on it and see "Rebranded HD 7750" and this Club3D card listed there.

    Also yeah, there is a XFX R7 250 Low Profile but that card actually is a R7 250.
