Windows 10: Will removing a Windows Account from PC affect my data?

Hi, I previously had a local account on my PC, but I then built a new PC and moved my Windows 10 Pro license to my new machine. I had some issues doing this and Microsoft Support advised me to link the license to my Windows account I have a personal subscription to Office365. Previously, when I imported Photos from different devices, I was able to specify and save a specific directory, which meant that all my imported photos went to the same place and were sorted by month and year. At some point after associating my license with my O365 account, I noticed that the photos directory was no lon

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Remove account from old pc

Apologies for the delay in responding. During this time, have you already removed the account on the PC? In case that you haven't, here are the steps on how you can remove an account in Windows 10.

Note: Before you can remove an account, you need to create a Local Administrator. Here are the steps:

• 
  Select the Start button, then select Settings
  > Accounts > Family & other people > Add someone else to this PC.
  
• 
  Enter a user name, password, password hint, and then select Next.
  
• 
  To make the new account an administrator account, select Start > Settings > Account > Family & other people, and select Change account type. Under Account type,
  select Administrator > OK. Restart your machine and sign in with the new administrator account.
  

To remove a user account in Windows 10, here are the steps:

• Press Windows key on your keyboard, click on Settings.
• Click on Account, click on Family and other users.
• Select the user you want to delete under Other users and click on Remove.
• Accept the UAC (User Account Control) prompt.
• Select Delete account and data if you wish to delete account and the data and follow onscreen instructions.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
