Windows 10: Will removing S Mode allow any software to be installed?

I need to purchase three laptops for work and have a limited budget. If I purchase them with Windows 10S and then remove S Mode will I definitely be able to run any software that I choose on the laptops?Thanks.

Windows 10 upgrade remove software

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you are facing. I will certainly help you with this.

Upgrading Windows doesn’t removes the previously installed software. This issue may arise due to incompatibility of the software with Windows 10. I suggest you to search the software data in Windows.old folder.

You may try re-installing the software in Windows 10 with compatibility mode and check if it works.
I suggest you to try compatibility mode for installation of program and check if it helps. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:

• Right click on program setup that you have downloaded.
  
• Click/tap on Properties.
• Check the Run this program in Compatibility mode for under
  Compatibility tab
• Select Windows 8.1/8/7/XP from the drop down under
  Compatibility mode section.
• Click on Apply and Ok.
• Install the program, restart PC.

unable to install bluetooth adapter driver software

As you are unable to install the software for the driver in normal mode, I suggest you to install the same in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below:

• Right click on the setup file of the software and select
  “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the software install and then check thefunctionality.

Install Diablo 3 on Linux

Just install PlayOnLinux? Why did they make step 2 and 3 of this "tutorial"?

Anyway, looking at the supported software list for PlayOnLinux, D3 is a step in the right direction. Lack of gaming is a factor for a lot of people when deciding on an OS, if more recent games get ported it may help migrate them to their preferred choice.
