Will the "Toolbar" option and functionality from Windows 10 be added back to the Taskbar on Windows 11? This feature is extremely useful and a huge time saver. I use it every day! If it is not added as an option in Windows 11 you guys are seriously hindering the performance of your users and creating negative attitudes. I see threads asking about this over a year ago, yet I do not see this as an option yet. This cannot be a difficult thing to reintroduce via an update. However here is a solution:

Remove the Language Toolbar from the Taskbar by unticking (unchecking) it in the list of Toolbars. It will then float and will not show up in your Toolbars list or on the Taskbar.

Logoffs, Restarts and full Shutdown/Poweroff/Startup will all retain the Toolbars as set.

Why has adding toolbars to the taskbar in windows 11 been dropped

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The Taskbar in Windows 11 is limited compared to the one in Windows 10, currently there is no native way to add Toolbars to the Taskbar.

Community is just a user to user forum, the best option is to open the feedback hub (Windows Key + F) and provide your feedback on the lack of functionality on the taskbar in Windows 11 to their developers there.
