Windows 10: Will the vertical taskbar be reintroduced to Windows 11?

Discus and support Will the vertical taskbar be reintroduced to Windows 11? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I am unable to use Windows 11 because I need to frequently select items from the Taskbar on the left of the screen that have their full addresses...     Will the vertical taskbar be reintroduced to Windows 11?


    I am unable to use Windows 11 because I need to frequently select items from the Taskbar on the left of the screen that have their full addresses displayed. Will vertical taskbar be reintroduced to Windows 11?This one loss of functionality affects my work greatly.

    Please, please, please can vertical taskbar be made available in Windows 11?

    I have always had the taskbar as a vertical option in 20+ years of using windows. For it to be removed as an option in Windows 11 is very disappointing!

    Please reintroduce this back.

    Vertical Taskbar (Windows 11)

    You can do a clean/fresh install of Windows 10.

    I'm not installing Windows 11 on any more of my machines until the vertical taskbar comes back. I only have Windows 11 on a 'test' machine at this point. This is a deal-breaker for me... and using a 3rd party program to bring back such an important feature that Windows 10 had is ridiculous.

    Window 11 - Vertical Taskbar Option Gone - Really?!?!?!

    For all my years using Windows I have much preferred having my Taskbar aligned vertically. I almost never need to left/right scroll because almost all views are much narrower than my screen Window 11 took away that option. Now I've lost vertical space and have to scroll vertically more often (carpal tunnel much!).

    Microsoft, put the option to have the Taskbar in a more optimal vertical orientation. You are acting like Apple!
