Windows 10: Will there be ANY update where the File explorer gets REDESIGNED???

im tired of the classic file explorer with the inconsistent Windows design.

Please be informed that the Start Menu is redesigned in Windows after the latest Anniversary update was released.

  The “All Apps” option is removed.
  
• 
  Important buttons like the File Explorer, Settings, and Shut Down buttons are now always located at the left side of the Start menu.
  

Moving ahead, we need more information about the app which you are referring to as
"connect", to be able to ascertain its impact on continuum feature in Windows.

"This file can't be previewed" problem in explorer

• Open File Explorer.
• Access this link
  
  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
• Delete all the files.
• After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.
