Windows 10: Will using ramdisk for temp folder cause a problem with Windows 10 update?

When doing a Windows 10 update to Windows 10 version 22H2, it gets to 30% of the update, then a reboot is done to complete the update. Dose this require that the temp files be saved until the update completes, in which case a ramdisk temp folder would be an issue since it gets reset on each reboot.?

Window 10 Pro. x64 22H2 build 19045.2251 I'm totally new to Windows 10 and want to use a ramdisk for the system TEMP and TMP folders (I did this successfully on my old Windows 7 system). However, I am wondering if doing this will cause a problem with Windows Updates. I mean, some Updates require reboots before the update can be applied. Does Windows 10 Updates write into the TEMP/TMP folder and expect to find temporary files there on the system rebooting if the installation of the update requires a system reboot? I hope I am making my meaning clear.

Just move user variables and it won't be a problem. Maybe browser cache also if you like.

The temp folder provides work space for programs. Yes they can be deleted. We suggest that you follow the steps provided by Sangeeta Sarkar on how to delete Temp files on this

link. You may also type in the search box Disk Cleanup and hit enter. It will evaluate your disk and give you a list of folders sizes that can be deleted.
