Windows 10: WIN 10 1803 Update

Keeps downloading, installing, reinstating, resetting to previous state.

Error 0x8007042B-0x4000D "The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA OPERATION".

The above error occurred after my last attempt to update from the 1709 update (July 10, 2018—KB4338825 (OS Build 16299.547)) using the ISO file loaded in a USB and the reset took me back to 1709.

Before rerunning 1803 what can be done to correct the SECOND_BOOT error.

I don't want the 1803 update to download again but would like to know if it is possible to rename or save offline some folders from the WINDOWS folder. Does for instance the SoftwareDistribution folder in the windows folder contain all that is required to allow me to rerun the 1803 update after resetting to previous state without downloading again by reloading the renamed or offline folders?.

Following Win 10 Update (1803): Unable to print (Printer offline message).

Printer Samsung ML2950 Series.

I have followed all the suggestions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027397/windows-10-fix-printer-problems

None of them fix the problem.

The printer is working fine. Another WIN 10 computer on the network is able to print to the printer without issue.

Latest updates:

• WIN 10 1803

and

• Security Update for Adobe Flash for Win 10 1803 KB4338832

I uninstalled KB4338832 and the problem persists, so I presume that the problem is with the 1803 update (as that took around 2 hours to install, I'm reluctant to uninstall it to test it).

 

Windows 10 1803 update issues(Solved!)

I have Asus P6T Deluxe V2 with X5650 and after this update system would hang at blue boot logo, i decided to restore bios defaults and then update continued normaly, when everything was done i decided to restore my oc-ed bios settings but win would hang again at blue logo so i started to disable options in bios until i disabled in "Intel VT-d configuration" option "Enable VT-d" after that system would boot normaly and interesting thing is that this is disabled in default bios but i enabled it long time ago, but like i said this is happening only with 1803 update.

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
