    Issue:I noticed that my Laptop fails the install of Win 10 20H2 with error code 0x80070002Attempts to resolve:1. I have run Trouble shooter -> No issues found.2. I have deleted the SoftwareDistribution -> Still same problem3. I have downloaded is 20H2 ISO file ->The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during PREPARE_ROLLBACK operation. Error code: 0x80070002 - 0x2000094. I have tried installing the 21H2 ISO -> Same result as above.5. My final attempt with check for updates I get this error: Last failed install attempt on ‎06/‎01/‎2022 - 0x80246019Can you please a

    This error can be bypassed by doing an installation in place.

    windows 10 20H2     make an iso and extract the iso in place then access the extract folder then lunch the setup.exe and then accept keep files and apps. Leave a feedback

    2004 update windows 10 error 0x80070002

    Hello everyone,

    thanks to some of the suggestions here and to some from other sources I have managed to fix the 0x80070002 error breaking up my feature update to 2004.

    For completeness' sake and since it may help others, the following steps worked for me.

    1. Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website
    2. Create a bootable USB drive with the MCT
    3. Boot up from this USB Drive
    4. Choose install settings, click 'Next', but on the next screen select "Repair your computer" instead of "Install"
    5. Choose "Troubleshoot" -> "Startup Repair" and let it finish
    6. Restart into Windows and attempt the usual Windows update
    It looks like the BCD on my computer had been damaged by the boot loader (Windows 10 + Recovery partition) and running the "Startup Repair" from the installation USB Drive corrected the errors.

    Windows Sandbox seems fragile on 1903 for a bunch of reasons; mine won't start with a different error code.

    Feedback Hub reports for "Windows Sandbox won't start" mention about 25 different error codes experienced.
