Windows 10: Win 10 64 - Update 2004 big trouble - cannot be installed!

Hello @ all experts,


I've been trying to install the 2004 update for over 2 months, unfortunately without success.

The update is offered to me, I download it, restart the PC when prompted everything works fine, only when restarting everything returns to the old system rollback and I get a message Update failed Error code:

0xC1900101, 0x20017

Now I've already found out everything so far that it could be due to incompatible drivers.

I have already tried everything known, without antivirus, all devices disconnected and only with keyboard and mouse, updated all drivers were only 2, all possible repairs of the update client, disc, in place update etc ... unfortunately all without success. That is terrible!

Maybe someone can find out which driver is incompatible?

I can´t install new OS. This is my main pc workstation and work fine.

Win 10 2004 update No AMD graphics

Before upgrading anything else to 2004, I would suggest checking out the current Known Issues list.

Feature Update Win 10 Pro 2004

The Feature Update Win 10 2004 appears to have installed successfully on my computer.

It is listed in Settings, System, About.

However, the Update has wiped out all of my previous Windows Update, View Update History which is now blank.

Moreover, the Feature Update Win 10 2004 itself is not listed in Settings, Update and Security, Windows Update, View Update History.

Is this important?

And if so, how can it be repaired?

Feature Update Win 10 Pro 2004

AFAIK, update history is cleared after installing feature update. This is expected behaviour, nothing to worry about!
