Win 10 and Win 11 computers, stop sync, only make One Drive avail on secondary laptop.

    - I have a powerful 6 year old Win 10 Samsung laptop, on which I have Mcafee and another auxiliary compatible anti malware software. - I recently bought an inexpensive Win 11 Lenovo laptop primarily for taking to work, the library, Starbucks, for doing mostly personal tasks and a small amount of work tasks. It also has Mcafee, but not the auxiliary malware software. - The laptops sink up more than is practical. The Lenovo tries to match desktop icons and files with the powerful Samsung laptop. That is completely inconvenient and unnecessary - Most irritating of all, the Le

Win 7 and Win 10 on network

I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

    Any suggestions for a fix?

Network between Win 10 and Win 11 computers

I had 2 Win 10 computers that talked to each other fine. Through Windows Explorer I was able to see and manipulate files one the other.

Now that one of the computers is Win 11, I can't see the other either direction. The target folders are all shared with full control permission.

When Win 11 looks for Win 10 I get a "can't access location" error. When Win 10 looks for Win 11, I get a log I'm requirement looking for ID an PW. (FWIW, my Win 11 computer makes me enter a PIN when I log in. I'd love to bypass that but can't figure how.)

Also FWIW, I've shut off firewall to see if Win 11 can reach Win 10 but still "can't access".

    Suggestions?

    Thanks.
