Windows 10: Win 10 asks my friend to free some space.. guess what happened

true story this morning.

MSI Raider laptop. 4 months old.

Windows 10 asks him to clean the hard drive to free up some space.

He accepts with default settings of cleaning given by Windows 10.

This morning Windows 10 is screwed. Login panel is gone. USB is gone.

God he is pissed. MSI factory reset not working either. Windows 10 screwed everything. Probably deleted all backups lol

Conclusion. Never accept Windows updates ( he had to roll back an update because audio jack didn't work after it), or anything they ask.

Now he is fucked. Windows 10 product key is in the bios.

what should he do? Every single reset fails.

WIn + space stopped working for me...

While CTRL + win + Space or Shift + win + space do work. What is funny is that when i press win + space it works like I only pressed space.

Win button is working for sure, checked it

Languages list is showing when ctrl or shiift is additionally pressed

Any suggestions?

 

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?

• Create media(DVD, USB stick, ISO)
