    Win 10 Auto Login

I have read and followed the tutorial instructions (Windows 10 auto login with Registry) closely 4 times, and after each Restart, the screen asked for a password with 2 UserNames listed. After selecting the correct UserName, password input, computer booted. IF I change the AutoAdminLogon key to AutoLogon, the system still asks for password. When I set the AutoAdminLogon to 0 and also delete the DefaultPassword value, the PC boots as described (using password). I have used both the Registry method and the "netplwiz" method - neither works for me. Windows 10 Pro, Version 20H2, OS build 19042.928 I purchased this Mini PC and use it for only ONE function - to monitor and display engine data in my motorhome. The PC auto loads the program that I use on startup, and I could eliminate the keyboard function if I could get it to boot without a password. Would appreciate any help you can provide.

    :)

    Win 10 auto login

I have updated to win 10 and would like to use auto login . There are 3 different users in our household for this pc. I tried the "control userpasswords2" with no luck even though it says auto logon. Every time I switch to a different user a password must
be entered. We never had this issue with win 7. Any fixes?

how to enable auto login in ChrEdge

I'm using the Chrome version of Edge in Win 10 1909. I do NOT login to a Microsoft account and will not sync passwords to online accounts.

In Edge I have "save passwords" and "auto login" turned on, When I manually enter username and password fields, the browser offers to save them (unfortunately only when a password field is present which complicates two screen logins). I save the username (manually entered into the save window) and password.

When I revisit the site to login, no auto login sequence executes. I'm presented with the normal login window(s) for the site and have to manually enter the UID and Passwords.

Must be doing something wrong, but can't figure out what. Searches haven't helped. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Turn off auto-login?

To stop the automatic log-in, please follow the
auto-login to windows steps listed here
, except when you get to the point to automatically login, check the box instead. That'll turn it off.

If you want to remove the extra account, you can also do that using the same steps (just click the "remove" button).

And finally, if you want to go back to Windows 8.1, get the Windows 8.1 install files

    here
    .

PS. You cannot ever delete the account with the actual name of "administrator" or you will ruin your computer.
