    Win 10 auto update taking long time


    4 hours into Win 10 auto update. Still 0% complete configuring. Why does this happen? Last 3 times update took hours and I had to shut it down, when I tried to reboot, I got black screen. I had to reset and lost all files.

    why does small win 10 update take so long..

    i have several devices i watch update the little phablet being one of them.. its now at 77% but i have tried restarting downloads often.. it never improves things just takes even longer cos it has to start at the begining again.. he he

    i am not talking about a this time one off.. i am talking every time.. which where win 10 is concerned is many times.. he he

    ps.. i do have a fast cable connection so it has nothing to do with my bandwidth..

    • What is the make and model of the pc?

    • Did you make any changes to the pc prior to this issue?

    • Have you installed all pending updates on the pc?

    • Do you have a wired net connection on the pc?

    • Do you get any error message when you try to upgrade to Windows 10?
