Win 10 automatic screen refresh slows to a crawl

After rebooting my Win 10 computers one desktop, one laptop, icons appear and disappear instantly when I make changes e.g., delete a file. After about an hour, I make a change and nothing happens until I manually refresh the desktop or open folder. I am running minimal startup apps. Win 10 is fully updated. Rainmeter tells me CPU usage is single digit %, plenty of RAM and Swap.Anyone else have this problem? Of course I can reboot every hour or sign out then sign in or constantly refresh manually, but that's not desirable.I have 75% confidence this started happening after a recent Wi

Major slow downs experienced in Belle Refresh

Hi Wateratz, thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem, you see the major slow downs that I am experiencing seem to be directly linked to my C7 using them email application and internet access in Belle Refresh. When it is busy
updating my email for instance my phone slows down to an absolute crawl so much so that all other touches on the screen are heavily delayed. Do you experience anything similar on your daughters N8?

February 8 Windows 10 update slows computer to a crawl

I upgraded to Windows 10 last year, no problems. Two days ago, Windows 10 did a huge automatic upgrade, it. Since then, my computer has slowed to a crawl. Outlook is crashing. Word is crashing. Firefox is funky. How can I get my smooth running computer
    back, please?

Windows inexplicably slows to a crawl: I've had an issue for a few weeks now where suddenly Windows will slow waaaay down (opening programs, websites refreshing, etc.) I can usually still open task manager and there are no obvious issues (nothing pinned at 100%, no one program that is the apparent culprit). A warm...
