    Win 10 Boot Freeze


    Hello, My pc just freezes on the boot window evrything stops including the dots that circle. All gets stagnant and I have to restart the computer and the same problem repeats. I have shortlisted the issue to be from either Motherboard or Memory, all the other components are running properly. Can anyone help?Thank you.

    Win 10 boots...

    I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
    My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.

    Win 10 boots...

    Interesting that it works on that oldie but goody laptop.

    I don't notice any speed lags with Win-10 TP, but I'm using it on an i5-4670K system with an SSD for the boot drive, so it's snappy.

    Win 10 Boot Freeze

    Win 10 CU (not FCU) stutters and freezes a lot with various operations

    I get momentary freezes and stuttering with a range of Windows menu operations. *sarc These are the ones that are top of mind but I'm sure there are others. Win 10 Pro 64, up to date on patches.



    • Xing out a FireFox tab
    • Click on FILE menu (drop down is delayed)
    • FILE > Print (printer list or print menu is delayed)
    • Selecting a higher level on the file path in the SAVE menu
    • Search menu at bottom of Windows
    • Typing in many situations.

    Any suggestions? Or this this a known problem in Win 10? I've had this problem for some time, but lately it has gotten me really PO'ed.*Confused
