Windows 10: Win 10: Can't create system restore point.

I ran into this problem sometime back. I eventually had to re-set win 10. Finally got it the way I wanted it. This time I think the error report might be a different number. Same problem. Please try to run system restore again

(0x81000203)-please close property page. I ran the command prompt. It said some system files were corrupt and could not be fixed. I tried running tweaking windows repair and it seemed to have fixed everything. Still can't run system restore. I'm almost ready to forget it!!!!!!

Setting a task trigger to create a daily System Restore point

I'd like to create a trigger in Task Scheduler that will create a system restore point daily in Win 10. Could someone take me through the steps? I found nothing online for Win 10.

I like to inform you that, Windows automatically creates a restore point when you install desktop apps and new Windows updates, if the last restore point is older than 7 days. You can also create a restore point manually at any time.

To create restore point Manually, follow the below steps:

1. Press the WinKey+X to display the system menu and click
System.

2. On the left side menu, click
System Protection.

3. In the Protection Settings section, click the
C: (system) drive.

4. Click the Create button.

5. Type a name for the System Restore file (The
Date and Time will be added automatically).
