Windows 10: Win 10 Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings

8.8.2021Hello,SInce hte last two updates I am having problems connect PC1 with PC2 dispite the Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings are correct and the individuals disk have schareable directories. Sometime it funktion then not wthere I restet the HW and the sharing then reoob and it may then work .However I am now observing that inControl Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings\privateThe file and printer sharing is set to OFF, when I set to ON leave the page and then return the values is set to OFF aga

can't seem to view available networks in network and sharing centre, right clicking does not do anything

If you are saying that you can't open Network and Sharing Center there are other ways than what you are probably trying. E.g. press Win-E Alt-d and type Network and press Enter. FWIW I see in that node's ribbon Network and Sharing Center. Ugh. That's
not what you are looking for either, is it? Oh, one more step. Scroll to the bottom of that "modern" Settings page and then click on the link Network and Sharing Center. Ta da! Behold! Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center

Cannot see my shared pc on network

@lakshi, on the Windows 10 PC make sure that Network Discovery is turned on. It's in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings

 

Accidently disabled myPublicWifi hotspot in networks and sharing centre

• Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
• On the left-side pane of the window, click Change advanced sharing settings.
• Expand the Private network profile, select the Turn on network discovery option under the
  Network discovery section.
• You may also select the Turn on network discovery option from the
  Guest or Public and Domain (current profile) network profile by expanding them one by one.
• Once you’re done, click Save changes.
