Windows 10: Win 10 crash/freeze after install nvidia driver

Need help with that sick problem, I can't play games anymore it required Win 10. When upgrading to windows 10, I downloaded the latest nvidia driver for windows 10 and windows crashes, I can't do anything, including restarting. I have to use safe mode to turn off the nvidia driver. I tried old driver versions, DDU but it didn't help. All windows 7,8,8.1 have no problem except win 10, using version 391.35. I think this is an error coming from Windows, looking at the driver log it says the device cannot be started display, the device is not using any resources because it has an error. I think

NVIDIA driver keep crashing on Windows 10

As far as I know, many Asus monitors do not have WQHL driver on Windows 10 and are refered as Generic PnP Monitor in
Device Manager. The software on Asus download site is just an optional software, not a driver.

But I think I've found a solution myself, after doing these steps:

• Uninstall NVIDIA driver using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and clean install it again.
• Open Device Manager, expand the Display Adapters menu, right-click on the graphic card's name and choose
  Update Driver.
• On the popup dialog, click on Browse my computer for driver software.
• Click on Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
• Select Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and click Next, wait for the installation to complete, then Reboot the system.

• After the system booted up, open the Device Manager and repeat those steps to get back to the list of the drivers on the system, this time select the right driver for the graphic card (mine is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970) and
  click Next, wait for the installation to complete, then Reboot the system again.

After this step, I've experienced no crash until now. I'll also delete those "ghost" devices and continue testing my system for several days to make sure the problem is gone.

I'm not sure why the clean install of the driver, or even Windows, does not work, but these switching driver steps does the trick.

Continuous crashes after a failed NVIDIA Driver installation.

All your minidump files do indicate it s the device driver on the Nvidia card that is causing the system crashes, you are performing the correct steps with DDU, have you tried installing a couple of older versions of the Nvidia driver, or the Studio version of the driver if it is available on the Nvidia website?
