Windows 10: Win 10 crashing just before I press shut down, restart, sleep etc.....

My pc laptop has been driving me nuts.

When I go to shut down, restart, sleep or any action involving powering down, the moment I move over a button to press it that action alone causes my pc to completely shut off complete loss of power and then reboot automatically.

Even when I power it up and am on the login screen, if I go to bottom left corner to shut it down it will do the same thing the moment I press the power icon to choose shut down, restart or sleep, it will completely crash/power off all on it's own before I can click anything. Just having my cursor in close proximity to a power related icon/button it will drop out before I can click anything.

It has gotten to the point the only I can turn it off, and it stay off, is to go into task manager and choose "Users" tab and choose disconnect, then using the tab key and arrows keys till I highlight "ShutDown" and then press enter. Then it will power down normally and stay off.


It is bizarre and making my nuts.

One more thing it will randomly just shut off and reboot with no rhyme or reason, and this will happen when it's playing a YouTube video, reading a web page, typing an email or just when I am not doing anything at all, there is no pattern or trigger that sets it off.


Any help would be very very appreciated.

Random shut down and restart??

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused *Mad

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
