    Win 10 - Custom PC- stuck


    So I had this custom 2013-2012 build with Core i5-2500K & MOBO Z68x-ud3h-b3Gigabyte https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3-rev-13#ov - running Win 8.1. on a 300GB HDD along with Patriot Pyro 60GB SSD as acceleration disk with Intel RST. Before mishap- PC had these detailed specs Pic5. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yIkhWgTY4aDmYmnOWX1NcoEhc2bpbCj7/view?usp=sharingWanted to upgrade it to Win 10 pro for my son. So shrunk volume in C: HDD, created new volume on same HDD named it E: new logical on same HDD and then installed Win 10 pro on it. All went fine with doing Ru

    Hi,

    I realize that it must be difficult for you when things are not working as it should. Sorry to know that you are facing this issue. I will try to help you with this issue.

    Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:


    • What is the make and model of the pc?

    • How are you trying to reset the pc?

    • Have you backed up your data?

    • What is the exact issue that you are facing in Windows 10?

    As it has been stuck for a long time, suggest you to press and hold the power button to shut down the pc completely.

    If you want to reset your pc, suggest you to refer to the section “Reset your PC” from this article.

    Recovery options in Windows

    Note: Resetting lets you choose whether to keep your files or remove them, and then reinstalls Windows.

    is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

    I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?
    and got to point

    • UPGRADE this PC now
    • Create media(DVD, USB stick, ISO)
    is hardware OK (Win 7) for an upgrade to windows 10 for this PC???
