    Win 10 DNLA clients, folders showing but not files.


    Win 10 DNLA clients, folders showing but not files. I replaced the HDD now E drive in the old DVD slot with an SSD now C drive. The E drive continues to show folders and files on my tv but the new C drive only shows folders. If I use a Plex server on the pc, the tv can see both folders and files from the C drive. The C drive folders and files are showing in windows explorer and wmp. I've tried all the sharing, security, indexing and wmp settings and icacls icacls "C:\my folder" /grant Everyone:M command with no sucess. Even though I have work arounds I would really like to know how

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Generating a .txt based file list in Windows 7

    I want to be able to generate a .txt file that lists all the files and folders in a specific folder on my PC, but don't know the name of any programs that do that. Searched on google a bit and came up with this guide, but it's for XP and I can't seem to find some of the folder options to modify the .bat file. Any suggestions? Thanks

    EDIT: The .bat file will do what I want if it is in the folder I want to do it in, but the option I want to add is having the right click option that it shows.

    I have a Windows Media Dnla server running it took some growing pains to get it to link and show all the video content on my Roku tv. I have divided all my MP4 files into playlist but when I view on tv it says I have no compatible video playlists. But that same files can be viewed individually.. How do I create a video playlist that will be viewable on devices connecting to dnla
