Windows 10: Win 10 doesn't activate a URL email address from my web application

This application's email address URL's work with every other operating system our users have - including earlier versions of Windows - but NOT 10.

I've seen other posts about this going back to June/July 2015 - how come it still seems to be happening over 12 months later?

SENDING EMAILS FROM AN ALIAS -- LIKE WIN 8

Thank you for your follow up. My comments concerned the MS WIN 8/10 mail apps.



From the web app you can switch the FROM among all your alias email ids. In addition, on the web app you can change the default email address which sets the default on the mail app on WIN 10. My problem is that on the WIN 10 mail app I cannot switch between
alias’s in the FROM. It is hard wired to whatever you set as the default on the web app. In the WIN 8 mail app, you could switch the FROM to among your alias’s by clicking on the MORE….



I need to change the FROM in the WIN 10 mail app. Assuming MS does not have or will not have this feature, then, I need to convert my alias’s to separate MS accts. My associates that receive my emails get confused when I send from a email they do not recognize.
It is too cumbersome for me to go back to a web application. Where do I go from here?

did you read my previous message? If you read it you can see that I logged in from the email web applications like Gmail etc. and those unnecessary addresses were not there. So the place where those addresses are hiding and appearing in Win 10 email is really
mysterious.
