Win 10 Enterprise - Need window to display during Setupcomplete.cmd...

    Hi....

We have ~100 PCs on which we apply an image created with an in house PC imaging system.

During setupcomplete.cmd I have a piece of configuration software which I run which and which displays a window which can only be controlled by mouse. There is no CLI option for this software, and no key sequences to enable pressing the window's buttons, so to automate this I created an AutoHotKey script which automatically moves the mouse to the button locations and clicks the appropriate button so the PC imaging process can be completely automated....

Until a few weeks ago, we were using Win 10 Enterprise LTSB 1607 and this all worked fine....just before a final reboot and getting the login prompt, setupcomplete.cmd would run, my config software would display and my autohotkey script would do it's thing.

Now we are trying to do the same thing with Win 10 Enterprise 1803, but it seems that when setupcomplete.cmd runs, the screen only displays a 'Just a Moment' screen and my config software never appears. The autohotkey script appears to run....I can see it move the mouse and click on non-existent buttons.

Is there any way to get my config software window to display during the 'Just a Moment' screen?

Or is there anyway to get Win 10 Ent 1803 to not show a 'Just a Moment' screen?

I had thought of using an <AutoLogon> and <FirstLogonCommands> in my unattend.xml file to have the config software and autohotkey script run after SetupComplete.cmd. Again, I can get this to work with Win 10 Enterprise LTSB 1607, but in Win 10 Ent 1803, after the 'Just a Moment' screen, the PC reboots and I then get the 'Why did my PC restart' screen.

I have even tried using registry keys at the end of the SetupComplete.cmd to force an auto logon as administrator....once again, LTSB 1607 works, but 1803 just sits on the 'Just a Moment' screen forever and never moves on.

Would be really grateful for any help in getting past this?

    Thanks in advance.

    .

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Start button, click on
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.
    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

    • Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Update driver software
BUT i still have the line on screen.
